This was one of those games we needed to step up and take it to them and the lions were “Impatience” as John said. They need to look at the mistakes and get up and play the game we need them to play and we know they are better than this, the fans believe they are going to well this year but every game must be a team effort. So the Currie Cup Champions makes the fans sit on the edge of there seats on Saturday , but they will take the win and will be pleased with the good start for the season and for the fans. The stadium was not as full as Friday nights bulls game , but some heavy rain weather would have surely kept the fans at home, even we as photographers started preparing for the rain to continue through out the game, with the field wet and slippery we would have expected lots more handling errors but we did not expect the turnover line outs wins by the cheetahs to be so many, that is clearly as area to work on. So the first South African matches started on Friday night and was not a pretty as we would have liked it to be but a good performance all together. The only sad point about the game is that Jano Vermaak did not get to play in his first official superrugby match for the Bulls, he would have been a worthy replacement to any player on the field. We are looking forward seeing him in action soon. Here is some of the pictures that was captured at the game.

Yesterday at the Lions Players Golfday we launch the MTN Golden Lions Photo book of the 2011 Currie Cup Season. There was a lot of work put into the design to make each page different and also to use the correct combination of photos to create a story. This Book is endorsed by the players and i will soon load a video on youtube where the players talk about the book. Here is some pictures of the book.

Today is a proud day for us, our little princess take another big step in her life. She’s got a great teacher and sure she is going to make a lot of friends. We will keep you posted. Here is some photos of the day.
